With our mobile kitchen we can cater anywhere you desire!  Having it onsite means you can cater to your guests with restaurant quality food, even if you are miles from the city. From paddocks to hills, to beaches and beyond – we can travel with our kitchen and have everything we need to create beautiful, fresh dishes for you and yours.

BANGOR FARM & DEER SHED

Situated on the outskirts of Darfield, Christchurch and once part of Bangor Estate, Bangor Farm is a spectacular setting featuring 50 acres of park with 160 year old Oak Trees, Red woods and Ponds. An Avenue of old English Oaks with views to Mt Hutt and Mt Torlesse complete the setting.

Bangor farm is all about family and friends coming together celebrating and relaxing, walking through the oak forests, ambling through The Park, around the ponds or just sitting under the veranda enjoy the moment. The stunning and unique location of Bangor Farm is perfect for functions small or large with a capacity of 300 persons.

We are here to help make your special day at Bangor Farm a truly amazing experience, from Weddings, Corporate Events, Team Building, Product Launches, Conferences and anything in between.

SIGN OF THE TAKAHE, CHRISTCHURCH

A memorable event begins with a memorable location and the Takahe is a special venue.  This enchanting building sets the perfect scene for a unique event. You’ll definitely be stimulating people’s imagination! The Sign of the Takahe is now one of Christchurch’s most sought-after group and function event spaces, with its distinct charm, the venue can be transformed to hold your most iconic parties or intimate enough to give your guests a group gathering to remember.

Our amazing upstairs grand space is the perfect setting with party space options to host 150+ Guests (250+  outside) we will endeavour to make your booking and catering selections as easy as possible.

MT VERNON LODGE, AKAROA

Mount Vernon’s sweeping lawns, with their stunning views over Akaroa Harbour, offer the perfect setting in which to make your vows. Of course, they also provide an ideal backdrop for your photographs, so there’s no need to leave your guests behind – friends and family can enjoy drinks and canapés, wander around the grounds, or even retreat to their own rooms if they so desire, until it’s time for the day’s proceedings to continue.

WAIPUNA ESTATE, Tai Tapu

Set in beautiful gardens and native bush, nestled into the hills above Tai Tapu, Waipuna Estate is the ultimate wedding venue, providing a romantic setting for your ceremony and reception and even accommodation before and after your wedding.

BRAMBLE GROVE, Kaiapoi

Bramble Grove is a Wedding and Events venue just off the Northern Motorway, near Kaiapoi. With an acre and a half of beautiful gardens, romantic reception pavillion, car parking, friendly staff and your very own Wedding Co-ordinator, why would you go anywhere else.

OMARINO ESTATE WEDDINGS & EVENTS

Omarino Estate Weddings & Events is a wedding and functions venue, located within the beautiful and award-winning vineyard, Omarino Wine Park. This substantial venue is centrally located in in Harewood, Christchurch with easy access to the nearby motorways and the Airport. The large and modern function venue is set amongst twenty acres of lush grape vines and mature gardens, and is ideal for many different events.

HARPERS HOMESTEAD

Originally farmland, now Harpers Homestead sits on a tree-studded three-acre property. It showcases all the beauty the seasons have to offer with its blossoms in spring through to the fiery leaves of autumn. Just 15 minutes north of Christchurch city, Harpers Homestead overlooks acres of pristine farmland located on the northern banks of the Wamakariri River. Hosts Andrew and Marina Arps are passionate about creating the perfect atmosphere for their guests. THE WOOLSHED AT TIPAPA

Barely 1 hrs drive from Christchurch, the Woolshed at Tipapa has been meticulously restored to its original character-filled glory. The atmosphere of a working woolshed pervades every plank, and the extensive shearers stencilling on the walls tells a fascinating and historic story. The Woolshed is now available to be shared as a very special events centre. The beautiful homestead and extensive gardens and grounds are available for the ceremony and immediate post ceremony celebrations, moving into the historic Woolshed for the wedding dinner and dancing.

DARJON VINEYARD

A delightful venue set within gardens and a vineyard, Darjon is a unique venue.  Only 15mins from Christchurch, this outdoor venue has a wonderful ambience.

AMURI ESTATE, Hanmer

Your ceremony may be held onsite as we have covered all weather conditions, each boasting amazing views. We offer a beautiful grassed ceremony area with an archway framing the view, surrounded by gardens and a bank of grandstand seating. We have an idyllic winter/wet weather room with a large window that looks out to the vast mountain range and perfectly shapes the view. It is a special location for winter weddings, warmed by the under-floor heating, which will provide the perfect atmosphere. A newly built, modern, barn-style building will host the perfect reception. Polished concrete floors, light plywood walls and 16 metres of glass doors shaping the views all create the ideal setting to continue the celebrations.

WEST EYRETON HALL

The West Eyreton Hall has an attractive garden setting and is located in a semi-rural area of the Canterbury Plains. It is a similar distance from Kaiapoi, Rangiora and Oxford; and only 5 km from Cust. The timber walls and flooring are character features of the mid-sized hall interior, and are complemented by a spacious fully-equipped kitchen and optional supper room.

METHVEN HERITAGE CENTRE

This is a wedding venue which will give you the opportunity to create your dream wedding from the blank canvas of the Mt Hutt Function Room. With the magnificent backdrop of the Southern alps and foothills to the rushing waters of the Rakaia River you will be spoilt for choice for choosing a beautiful location for your photos.

OXFORD TOWN HALL

The Oxford Town Hall was built in 1931 and has been delightfully restored and upgraded.  With a main hall featuring polished wooden floor, a mezzanine floor and a smaller room as well, their are many options and spaces for your event.

ROSEMOUNT PARK, Ohoka

Rosemount’s unique private nine acre garden estate is available exclusively for your special day. The pillars and flower arrangements are part of this unique venue and enhance the setting; night lights in the trees and gardens add atmosphere after dark. Croquet and pétanque are available. Rosemount has an all-weather, all-year-round beautiful marquee, with silk lining, polished concrete floors and doors to the outside with all-weather access. Ideal for all aspects of a wedding.

THE VINES CLUB, Christchurch

OKUTI GARDENS

Are you looking for somewhere to hold a workshop or retreat? Or a venue for a gathering or celebration, or just a weekend away with a group of friends? Do you want a beautiful, peaceful environment with a relaxed, low-key atmosphere? If you want somewhere within easy reach of Christchurch, and you don’t want to pay the Earth for it, then Okuti Garden might be just what you’re looking for. We have a flexible approach to how the garden is used. The earth brick studio and yurts can be used for workshops or as gathering spaces and various other parts of the garden can be used in different ways.

LINCOLN EVENT CENTRE

Just 20 minutes from Christchurch International Airport and the central city, this modern complex has a variety of affordable venue spaces for everything from weddings to community meetings and rock concerts to major indoor sporting fixtures.

ORTON BRADLEY PARK

From a small intimate event with your nearest and dearest to a celebration in grand fashion for up to 200 guests, the Park has a long tradition in making your special day a day to remember. Beautiful gardens, open spaces and country charm set the background only 30 minutes from the city. Whether you prefer a heritage building with kauri panelling or a luxurious marquee with sweeping views, several sites are available within the Park providing you with the flexibility to allow your dreams to come true. With historic buildings, flower filled gardens, tree lined walks, a golf course and an adventure playground, there are many options for all interests.

ROSSBURN RECEPTIONS

Based just outside of Rangiora, Rossburn is ideal for all aspects of a wedding – the ceremony, reception, dance, and with wonderful country surroundings and lovely old trees – it’s perfect for creating fabulous photographs. Garden wedding services are a speciality. Guests are also able to have the opportunity to wander the extensive halls of our Museum filled with New Zealand memorabilia. 

HEMSWORTH ESTATE, Ashburton

Hemsworth Estate is a place in which time can stop and allow you to enjoy the moment. Five minutes from Ashburton and only an hour away from Christchurch, this is one of the quickest getaway locations that feels secluded, private and just yours. Hemsworth Estate seems to be designed for celebrating. Set in a sheltered circle of centennial trees, the lawns and gardens are open and inviting for any kind of event. From a large gathering to a small intimate celebration, we have created various spaces to cater to any event.

HOROTANE LODGE

Horotane Lodge is an impressive architecturally designed luxury home, hidden away in sunny Horotane Valley beneath the Port Hills in Christchurch. Providing an extremely private yet spectacular backdrop, Horotane Lodge is perfect for a unique and upmarket gathering. This is a stunning location for your event, corporate function, celebration or wedding. Horotane Lodge has held events for up to 200 people in the past, but is equally as special for small groups.

With picturesque landscaped gardens, Horotane Lodge is suitable for marquees, outdoor ceremonies, large summer garden parties or functions in the orchard.

TOBY HILL FARM

Situated beneath the Torlesse Range of the Southern Alps and on the banks of the mighty Waimakariri river, Riverside venue boasts the most stunning views in the Christchurch and Canterbury area. The area’s native bush has been meticulously restored to make Riverside a venue of outstanding natural beauty.

Riverside can seat up to 140 people and caters for functions, corporate events and weddings the whole year round.

NORTH NEW BRIGHTON COMMUNITY CENTRE

The North New Brighton War Memorial Hall and Community Centre is a multi-use facility available for community activities and private social functions. This centre is modern and overlooks the beach.
